One of the most exciting events ever will happen in just less than a month.
On 14th July, the space probe New Horizons will make its closest approach to Pluto. It’ll be moving pretty fast (!) so it won’t have long close to the planet, but it will be frantically collecting data which will take the guts of a year to fully download. It’s the first time any probe has been anywhere near Pluto, and it’s going to be fascinating to see what it finds.
There’s sure to be plenty of media coverage in the middle of July. If you can’t wait that long, then have a look at these sites.
